Short-term Government of Ghana Treasury bill rates further maintained its relative stability this week as both the yields on the 91-day and 182-day bills were little changed from previous week’s rates. This week’s Treasury bill performance comes ahead of the announcement of the rate of inflation for September, the second after the Ghana Statistical Service rebased the consumer price index using 2012 as the base year.

The yield on the 91-day bill gained this week to recover previous week’s loss. It rose from 14.6832% posted last week to 14.6916% this week.

The 182-day bill fell by a 1 basis point this week after four weeks of posting successive marginal gains. It weakened to 15.1372% from 15.1462% posted last week.
